About Pongo
Introducing PONGO, one of five absolutely adorable puppies from The Panda Litter, born on 21 July 2022.
Pongo's heritage is Border Collie, Kelpie and Stumpy Tailed Blue Cattle Dog, a mix that we call "Belpie Blue" for short. Only one of the five pups has a standard length tail - and it's not Pongo. His tail is three-quarter length.
A photo of Pongo's mum is included in this profile. We don't have any photos of or information about his dad.
Belpie Blues are true blue Aussie working dogs and make great family pets, loyal companions and excellent watchdogs. They have an exceptionally high IQ and require plenty of physical and mental stimulation to be happy and content. But more than anything, they need the love and attention of their human family.
Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and/or there is another compatible dog for Pongo to play with. Previous working dog experience will be highly regarded. Pongo is not suited to full-time workers. As always, secure fencing is essential.

Pongo's adoption fee is $825. He has had one vaccination and is microchipped. He is also flea and worm-treated. His adoption fee includes desexing when age appropriate.
He will be available for rehoming from 16 September 2022. Interstate applications are welcome, but applicants must be prepared to travel to Warwick, Qld to meet Pongo.

Dogs:
The first step in our adoption process is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ This is a mandatory step and you are encouraged to answer all questions and provide photos of your yard and fencing.
All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
The "meet and greet" is held in Warwick, Queensland. If successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
