About Peaches
This tortoiseshell queen has a big heart and so so much love to give!
Peaches came into our care in a bad way; she was suffering from severe dental disease, because of this Peaches has had most of her teeth removed. Once fully recovered, she will be able to eat normal adult cat food and even biscuits!
Peaches had cat flu and was incredibly matted and required a full clip. Don't worry though; there is only two weeks between a good and bad haircut (plus, she looks adorable in her jumpers).
Although she's a sweet, cuddly kitty who will enjoy keeping you company, Peaches is a little timid and will take some time to settle into a new home and make herself feel comfortable around different faces. Still, once she builds trust with you and settles into her environment, she will begin to show you her sweet, soft and smoochy side. She loves to curl up on your lap for cuddles and a cat nap.
Peaches also likes to play hide and seek, and she does so by burying herself in her bed under her blankets to keep warm during these cold nights.
Peaches will need a quiet, patient and understanding home/family, as a busy and loud household may be overwhelming. Peaches loves other cats, so would she be happy to share her new home with another feline friend please!
Peaches is vaccinated, has been desexed and is up to date with flea and worm preventatives.
☆PEACHES IS AN INDOOR ONLY CAT FOR LIFE
Medical notes
Peaches has undergone an extensive dental surgery (11/10/22) and had all teeth except for the 4 canines and front incisors removed. She is recovering well already and we expect her to no longer have pain once she has made a full recovery!
Adoption details
Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
Thank you again for your interest in one of our rescue cats!
