About Henry
Little Henry is an adorable puppy who was born into an indigenous household in a remote Community in the Western Desert region of Central Australia. In that environment he was exposed to a bustling household of adults and kids of all ages, plus a group of family dogs. At 8 weeks, his family asked us to foster Henry and his sister with a view to finding them new homes.
He integrated well into the pack of 5 foster puppies and 6 adult dogs and was soon enjoying rough and tumble games, tussling over toys and running around exploring the garden. He is often to be found conked out in a pile of puppies in one of the dog beds. He has good doggy manners and is confident playing with the puppy-friendly adult dogs but knows to steer clear of the grumps.
Henry is very affectionate and loves a cuddle. With his quiet, sensitive, intelligent nature he is naturally well behaved and a quick learner. We can see him being a great family member, or perhaps a loyal side-kick to an active older person or couple. Either way, he would love to be included in activities and outings and, of course, cuddles on the couch in the evening.
Henry is presently in care in the NT. He will be travelling to SA at the beginning of October. His transport costs are included in his adoption fee.
Medical notes
By the time he travels, Henry will be fully vaccinated with his primary course of vaccinations. He will have been tested for the full panel of tick-bourne diseases that exist in the NT. If treatment is needed it will be provided.
