About Esme
Esme is a gorgeous pup who was born on a remote community in the western desert region of Central Australia. Here they were exposed to the comings and goings of an indigenous family with lots of adults, and kids of all ages, plus a group of family dogs.
When she and her brother Henry were about 8 weeks old we were asked to care for them, grow them up and find them new homes. They joined a crew of 5 older puppies and 6 adult dogs in foster care in the Community. Esme is the smallest one of all, but manages to hold her own in the rough and tumble of life. She plays with all the puppies and with the big dogs and loves puppy wrestling, tussling over the toys and playing chasey games. She is a very sweet natured and loveable little girl who loves cuddles and has a gorgeous gentle way about her.
Esme has a fine build and is quite a lot smaller than her brother, so we think at a guess that she will end up being about 15-18 kg fully grown and of more slender build. This beautiful little "kunga mara" would be great in a family situation where she would be included in family outings and get lots of cuddles. While she is very people orientated, she would make a great mate for another friendly dog as well.
Esme is currently in care in the Northern Territory, and will be travelling to SA in the beginning of October. Her transport cost is included in her adoption fee.
Medical notes
By the time Esme is ready for adoption, she will have been vaccinated with her full primary course of vaccinations. She will have also been tested for the full panel of tick-bourne diseases that exist in the Territory. If treatment is needed it will be provided.
