About Luka
Hi, my name's Luka and I'm Layla's brother! I too came from a hoarder property. I've been a bit shy settling into foster care, but I've found I love being in a nice clean environment with people who take care of me.
I'm a purry boy who loves pats. I'll rub up against you and be all smoochy until I get the attention I crave. I'm starting to love wand toys and playing with toys in general! I can't believe I ever thought toys were scary!!
My dream home is one where I can get tons of love and toys. I'm a little wary of young children but a home with gentle kids or older kids would be ok. I'd love another confident cat friend, but would be ok by myself as well.
Luka has been:
- Tried with children and was a bit wary but should be ok with older children
- Untried with cats outside of his family but has lived with over 20 cats so should be fine given proper introductions
- Untried with dogs (no dogs please)

Luka is 7 months old (DOB: 3/2/22) and his adoption fee of $150 includes:
- Desexing
- 1st Vaccination
- Microchipping
- Flea and worming treatments until date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of his current food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys and other goodies to get him started.
Luka is available to meet at his foster carer's home at Coromandel Valley.

Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
