About Dusty
Dusty is absolutely beautiful natured and typical of the breed he’s not coping too well at the shelter.
His history is, he’s lived with another female husky which he got along well with. Dusty has been raised with children and has always been very gentle and friendly. He has been in indoor dog that if allowed would love to sleep in your bed with you. Dusty has always been a very spoiled dog. He doesn’t like to sleep inside when the heater is on though. He’s fully house trained and knows his inside manners.
Dusty would be really good with an owner that has alot of time for him, he just wants that companionship. Walks ok on lead, pulled a bit but not like some huskies.
Dusty is pretty confident around people. He has a history of escape so will need 6ft + fencing, although when he is around people he calms down quickly and is so content to just sit next to you, he’s very cuddly and loves attention.
Dusty will sit and shake before his bowl is given to him, dusty does not have an issue with people or children around his food, but he has an issue with other animals near his food, due to this he is best fed separately to the other dogs.
Dusty enjoys sitting out in the stormy weather and cutting laps, he is great on lead and enjoys his afternoon walks.
Dusty would like a female companion, or with a family that has time to spend with him.
