Hi, I'm Frost! I am looking for my forever family, fit and ready for a smart and beautiful Siberian Husky like me! Please don't just go by my looks, gorgeous as they are - even if I do say so myself - we huskies do have some special husky needs, therefore my new family must have experience with my breed. Ideally, I would prefer calm, older children or teens for human siblings, and no other dog in the home. I also need tall and secure fencing without any gaps.I love walks, everyone at the shelter reckons walking me is a breeze because I have excellent lead manners; however please keep me away from dog parks and off-leash areas. The team also says I'm super smart, so positive, reward-based training would be fun for all of us. I am not the best at sharing and have shown some resource guarding behaviours while at the shelter, so my new family will need to respect my space at meal times and work with me on these behaviours, teaching me to "trade." I really do love human companionship, or having my own human tribe (I know you humans don't call yourself "pack") and can get anxious when left alone. I would love for one of the humans in my new tribe to be home most of the time. Last but not least, I love being outside quite a bit, so a large yard would be great.
