About Django
Sweetheart Django is one of a kind! This loveable doggo is a true mixed breed, but if you asked him, he’d say he was a purebred lap dog! Django loves his people; in fact, Django loves just about everyone. He is currently friends with cats, chickens, sheep and other dogs!
Django loves being told he’s a ‘good boy’, so he has learnt lots of great behaviours to impress his people. He will sit and wait for his food. He will go to his bed when you are eating. He will keep still at the dog wash when it’s bath time. He will even curl up on the floor in the car when you need to take him for a drive.
At home, Django is well-behaved indoors and outdoors. He is toilet trained, doesn’t dig, and doesn’t chew things he shouldn’t. He’s even happy to occupy himself while you’re out and about. He does tend to bark when left outside all day and would prefer a large backyard. Indoor access will keep Django and any neighbours happy.
Django would love to share his home with another dog. He’s such a smoocher he’ll even curl up with a cat if you have one. Humans are still Django’s favourite though and he loves pats and cuddles more than anything. Face rubs are his absolute favourite thing in the whole wide world!
We said that cuddle time is Django’s favourite…well if that’s true, then walk time is a very close second! He can get a little excited on a leash, but he has excellent off-leash recall! If he’s off exploring and you need him back, just say the magic word ‘back’, and Django will be walking right behind you in no time. He’ll stay walking behind you for as long as you need, as long as you mention the magic word now and then. When it’s safe for him to go off exploring again, all you need say is ‘off you go’, and Django will dash around like he’s the happiest dog in the world, which he might actually be!

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
