About Zarlie **2nd Chance Cat Rescue**
The gorgeous scruffy/fluffy Zarlie is looking for her forever home with her lovely sister Zibby. This duo have been together from the start and we would hate to separate them.
These girls were rescued at around 8 weeks old eating out of a dumpster at the back of a shop. Thankfully the owners and workers were kind and worked with us to bring them into care. Zibby was healthy (but stinky!) but her sister Zarlie was skeletal.
They've been loved and nursed in foster care and are now ready for their forever home. They are a little skittish still and will often run off when you approach them. But as soon as you scoop them up they relax and Zibby is quite the purrer. Zarlie is shyer and looks to her sister for guidance. She doesn't like foster mum mum! She was a meany who gave medication (can you tell it was foster mum who took most of her photos?! Grumpy face!).
Zarlie gets along with other cats and is relatively unfazed by the friendly resident dog, she'll do half-hearted hiss but also follow her around. She loves to play with teaser toys and snuggle up with her sister.
The girls still need love and attention to keep building trust, their foster parents have worked with them all that they can and they are ready for a forever home where they will continue to be loved and learn that life can be happy and safe.
These girls ideally need a home there would be no young children at this stage as they're still a little timid, Zarlie more so. An experienced cat person who is happy to invest the time in helping them blossom would be ideal.
Zibby is fully vaccinated. Adoption fee $350 ($700 for both girls)
