About Cooper ~ 2yr Old Fox Terrier XOn(On Trial 17/9/22)
Happy Chap Cooper is a 2-year-old Male, Fox terrier x who is looking for his new forever person to shadow around.
Cooper is amazing company and loves to spend his days, going for a walk, playing with a ball or laying in the sun. He also loves indoor activities like supervising your housework, snoozing next to you on the couch and cleaning up dropped crumbs in the kitchen.
In Coopers forever home he would prefer to be the star of the show but if he did have to share the attention with another dog, he would want them to be as independent and chilled as possible as he likes to do his own thing. Being a terrier, he needs daily walks to get his sniffing quota done for the day after that he is happy to explore and sun-bake while you garden or solo if you need to leave him for work or go out for the day. When you are home, he would love to be inside with you and sleeps all night quietly in his crate indoors.
Whilst in care Cooper he has been working on a few things like sitting nicely instead of jumping when wanting a pat, not pulling on the lead so much and working on recall so one day in his forever home he can go on adventures safely. Cooper has been living with a large breed senior dog in his foster home and has been very respectful of her. He loves the two young children he is also currently living with but as he is learning that mouthing is not our favourite way to get our attention, he would be better suited to living with people 8 and older.
Cooper has springs in his feet so will need fencing 5ft or over. The only exposure to cats in care has been on walks and he thinks they are for chasing. So are birds apparently so Chickens are probably no good either.
For more information or to meet Cooper, please contact his foster carer on their email
hgrescue@outlook.com.
Cooper is in foster care in Salamander Bay NSW. Cooper's adoption fee is $600 which includes all up to date vet work. Cooper has received desexing, vaccination, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipping.
