MY PROFILE:
Jackie is a boisterous girl, she is still quite timid, not able to pat her as yet but this will come with time. Foster carers were able to get her up on the couch with cat nip spray.
Even though you can’t touch her at this stage you can interact with her by playing with toys. You are able to give her a stick treat via your finger & this will open up the trust more.
Jackie is very inquisitive, she wants to join in with the other kittens and foster carers but unsure.
Jackie would be suited to a family with children over the age of 10 that can be patient with her, not suitable for other cats or dogs.
Jackie is in foster care with Indy and would benefit from a home with a friendly feline or go home with her friend in tow.

As of 1st August 2025, our adoption fees will be adjusted to help cover rising vet and care costs. The new fees are as follows:
Kittens (1 vaccination): $400
Kittens (2 vaccinations): $450
Adult & Adolescent Cats (9+ months): $280
Breed cats will be listed with a separate adoption fee based on their individual profile.
Change of ownership is included in the adoption fee.
Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us care for and rehome the many cats and kittens that come through our rescue.
All 2nd Chance Cat Rescue cats are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and come with a take home pack. We transfer the change of Ownership free of charge into your name.

ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE

3. Or you can download the document and email back via 2ndchancecatrescuevic@gmail.com
4. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
Please note that the adoption fee as stated on the cat's profile is required on the day of adoption and we only accept cash.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
