About Cham
Cham is an ultimate surprise bundle. A very striking looking puppy who is initially shy meeting new strangers but once out of his shell, this little man is full of energy and mischief. Just like any puppy should be.
He is a quick learner and has the smarts. He is a people pleaser and always by your side ready to bring a smile to your face and looking to get some affection in return.
His favourite friend is the household cat! The cat owns the house but the two play and cuddle together and watching the bond between these two grow is just heart-warming. He also loves his foster brothers, causing chaos with another German Shepherd and a Dalmatian. He loves playing tug of war together with any toy in sight. They share beds and are sensible eating in the same area.
Cham is learning all the house rules and going to toilet outside. He sleeps through the night on his mat and when told to settle knows to go and take a rest on his mat. He can invade some personal space rules in his house share arrangement. This boy loves to join you in the shower and enjoy the warm water running all over him.
Cham has good manners, sitting on command and will take any opportunity to get tummy rubs as the reward. He is an extremely affectionate dog and being smothered with love is his happy place. His next favourite thing is walkies!!! The excitement you get when you get the lead out is so much fun. He walks well with his foster siblings and enjoys any adventure with the family.
This litter of pups had a less then ideal start to life. Prior to coming into care this litter had no human touch, no exposure, no training – to me this is a perfect clean slate to build up a dog and develop a true relationship. We took in 7 German Shepherd pups that were raised in the backyard with no direct human contact. They were not mistreated, their shyness is from the unknown. In care that past is a very old memory and only creeps out in new situations.
We are looking for an experienced or dedicated family that want to develop Cham to his full potential. This process will have some learnings along the way but consistency for them to grow into stable adults. The most rewarding journey to be a part of an important trust and bonding time between dog and family. This home ideally can consist of a fellow dog and most importantly adults that will show leadership and clear guidance to a pup that will need it.
We are so proud of the personality Cham have developed and we know he is going to continue to shine with his new family.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
