Bobby

Bobby is the sweetest ball of fluff and deserves the best family.
He came from the pound, where he arrived without a microchip, and in a very sad state, both physically and emotionally. Since arriving in care he has shown his true colours, including that his guessed age is totally incorrect. So, his chip says by 'pound guesstimate' 10, but our vets and his carers believe him to not be over 5. Suppose we'll never know for sure but don't expect this little man to be a couch potato resting around... he's got energy, alright!
Bobby is every groomer's dream. As soon as he is placed on the grooming table he just submits to it and will even fall asleep in the process. His coat only needs a quick Flexi Slicker Brush comb daily to stay unmatted.
He is a social butterfly with well mannered dogs (will not be impressed with dogs trying to dominate him) and does not mind sharing the resources (food, water, toys and humans).
Bobby loves his food and is not a picky eater. He is good with sharing his food with other pooches or just waiting his turn, if they are not as keen to share.
He flies up and down the couch (and bed) with ease, but can also wait for permission as he is very keen to follow an assertive handler.
Bobby does not like alone times and his best home will have another compatible doggie friend. It will be perfect if the humans also don't stay out for long.
He will need secure 6" fences with no chance of digging out. Due to his energy, apartment living will not be appropriate.
Bobby is very easy to walk on the lead but will dash out for a self adventure if the humans are not quick enough closing the doors. Further leadership based training will see this issue fixed.
He adores his car rides and is learning that he cannot be outside the windows. He does best with his seatbelt on and only a gap open so his nose can catch the wind.
Bobby is toilet trained but still learning that, if other pooches aren't, it's not an excuse to mark.
