About Leo
Hi, my name is Leo. I came into care from a hoarder property with 20 other cats!
I've been a little confused since coming into foster care. I don't know why I'm here at all. I like the lady that spends time with me though and will give her head bumps, roll onto my back while purring and love getting a pat!
She keeps bringing these weird things out. She calls them toys. I don't really know what they are though because while I was born in a house, I've never had any before. I think I might like them in time, they're just a little strange to me!
I like the lady's grandchildren, they seem pretty nice. I can get a little spooked when they're loud though. I think I'd like a new home where I can either be the only cat or with one other kitty friend. I think it's time for me to get some attention to myself and become the cat I've always wanted to be!
Do you think you might have the time and patience to let me get used to being given tons of attention and toys? I promise I'll be your best friend if you do!
Leo has been:
- Untried with cats whilst in care but lived with many others so should be fine with them given the right introductions
- Untried with dogs
- Tried with children and was fine with them.
***To be kept strictly indoors or with access to a secure enclosure only***
Leo is 6 months old (DOB: 3/2/22) and his adoption fee of $150 includes:
- Desexing
- 1st vaccination
- Microchipping
- Flea and worming treatments up to date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of his current food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys and other goodies to get him started.

Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
