About Rosie
This cuddly bear is Rosie, a 4 year old Sharpei mix with a face that will melt your heart.
Rosie came to rescue through no fault of her own, she was one of many animals living a property that were not being cared for properly, and so now she finds herself ready to be treated like the princess she is and find her forever family.
Rosie is used to people and animals being around, and would like a family where she is very much an inside dog who is part of the family. She would do well alongside another calm dog, and is not cat tested although we suspect she would be fine. Rosie is not child tested, but we suspect she would also be fine but may be suited to older kids as she a decent size.
Rosie loves a daily sniff walk, followed by some Netflix binge watching and a nice cuddle. She is the perfect companion for someone who wants a dog that loves to be loved.
While she is a healthy girl, due to her breed she is prone to skin issues. She will require regular baths with special shampoo to keep her itch free, and a healthy diet. Rosie came to us with a skin infection that had been left untreated, but is thriving in care and will need a family who will ensure this is kept on top of.
Rosie is:
- Microchipped
- Vaccinated
- Desexed
- Adorable
She is located in South Melbourne with her foster family.
Medical notes
As a sharpei she is prone to skin issues which will need to be kept under control with a healthy diet and regular malaseb baths
