I'm Piper. I'm described as sweet, shy and sensitive. I'm on the lookout for my forever home and family. Due to adverse circumstances I lost my previous home and family, nobody at fault really, least of all myself. I arrived here at the shelter with a very large litter of puppies, and we all moved to a lovely foster home for a while. Now that my babies have all found their forever homes, my time has finally come. My ideal family would have someone at home for a few days, until I'm settled. I do have a few trust issues in new environments and in meeting new people. I can be anxious, but once I get to know and trust you, I love to lean in for cuddles. My ideal human siblings would be calm older teens, and I could see myself very happy with a male doggie friend, as long as he is friendly and social. I am quite social and playful with other dogs, but we must all meet at time of adoption, to make sure we like each other. I really hope I won't have to wait for too long. I would so love to belong with a nice family again!
