About Bolt
Hi my name is Bolt
I am a Maltese x Mini Fox and I'm 4 years and 8 months old.
So you have probably seen my photos and gone oh a bit chubby well thank you for being nice about it because when i came into care approximately 6 months ago I was fat!
My foster mum has been working with me and I have lost so far just over 4kgs - now I know some people would say 4kgs that’s not a lot but from my small frame - it is!
I am still needing to lose more weight for my health so I’m looking for a walking partner - not someone who wants to run or do marathons but someone who will take me out for a walk or two a day and help me with my weight loss journey. I do enjoy them and you will see a smile on my face as we start to head off for them.
Since I have lost some of the weight i have discovered life is fun and fun things can happen.
I also love to play ball either with a tennis ball or soft toy - I'm still learning when it comes to fetch that I need to give it up to have you throw it again - sometimes I just get so excited that I forget there are rules for fetch
I love car rides and would happily combine a car ride and a walk at a different location with you.
I've now even started doing zoomies, they might not be the fastest but I’m getting there!
I also love a game of tug of war with another dog - I am dog friendly and I am used to being with big and small dogs.
If we are not playing in the yard or on an adventure I love to cuddle up with my humans and just hang out.
I would love to be able to sleep on your bed I want to make sure you are safe I will sleep in a doggie bed if I have too.
I am also great with kids and love the attention they give me.
I do love spending time with my people but if you have to go out to buy me something I'm ok with that too.
If you are wanting a fun loving couch cuddling little mate please click on the link below to fill in an adoption application
** Please note applications will close Thursday 1st September 2022 at 5.30pm

Medical notes
Bolt still has a few kilos to lose and would require some dedicated to helping with his weight loss journey.
Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
Please note - We don't take calls on adoption enquiries - an application must be completed
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
