About Poncho and Mila
Are you wanting a pair of fur babies that will put a smile on your face with their antics and joy for life?
Introducing these two lovely fur babies looking for their furever home together - they are bonded and will only be adopted together.
Poncho is an 8 year and 6 month old male Dachshund and Mila is a Sneakers is a 4 year and 2 month old Dachshund.
Being a bonded pair means you can have your cake and eat it too – This is the perfect set up for any family – there is always one of the pair that is more outgoing and energetic (yep looking at you Mila) and then for the family members who like the quiet cuddly one there Is Poncho.
Poncho is a lovely older gentleman who just loves to cuddle with his humans and Mila is a strong independent little girl who while loves cuddles is a girl who knows what she wants in life and will advise you if she is unhappy.
Because they are small breed dogs they do like to be ‘those ones’ that means they would prefer someone who is home more often than not, works for home, is retired – you get the picture they are lap dogs! (But come on who's surprised?)
Poncho is a bit slower to warm to people but once he is happy and comfortable he will show you his amazing loving personality.
Both Poncho and Mila are dog friendly and currently with a few other small breed dogs with no real issues – both are protective of each other and will always have each other’s back if another dog is in their face etc.
Both Poncho and Mila are happy and loving dogs that are easy to look after, they love being together playing and then other times love to be the center of attention.
Both babies are company for each other and both love cuddles and if you have steps /ramps to your bed they will gladly share your bed with you.
Both Poncho and Mila love a good toy play and a run around playing.
They are currently in a foster home with 3 teenage boys which means they get lots of attention and cuddles - they also get to do lots of lounge lazing with the humans while they watch TV or play a video game.
Both Poncho and Mila love exploring outside in the yard and going for walks – the excitement that shows when they see their leads is entertaining and both love a good walk where they can set the pace (little legs you know).
Both fur babies are great with their food bowls and eating.
Both are so full of love and get compliments from EVERYONE who meets them - the cute faces will have you falling in no time us - despite Poncho showing a more reserved side at first meet the love they show you is amazing - both are beautiful and very well behaved.
Poncho and Mila are both okay with cats
Both Poncho and Mila love going for a car ride - they will happily sit in the car with you - air conditioning making their ears flap
They are both toilet trained and can happily use the doggy door, but will have accidents from time to time especially if it’s raining outside but you know that’s cause they are dachshunds and low to the wet grass!
If you are looking for two gentle and affectionate companions and can offer a warm home, comfortable beds and plenty of love then please send through an adoption application. Poncho and Mila are waiting!
