Phoebe

Hello!

My name is Phoebe. I'm a young lady looking for a special home to call my own.

The first thing I want you to know is that I can be shy and sometimes wary of strangers. I haven't had the best luck until I came here - maybe that's why I can't help but worry a bit when new things happen or new people appear. So I'm looking for a nice human to be my advocate and help me remember to stay calm around new things.

The next thing I want you to know is that I really love to play! So far, rubber balls are my favourite - but you could help me discover other toys, too. I love the way they bounce and they make me bouncy, too!

I also love food - especially treats like chicken or devon. Yummm! This will be extra handy for training. I already know Sit but would love to learn more.

I enjoy walks so I'm hoping you can take me on lots of these once I've settled in. I have walked with another dog in shelter but I can get a bit frustrated when I see dogs, so I'll need you to help teach me to ignore other dogs - luckily, I'll do anything for food!
