About Dora
Happy, smiling little Dora (all 3.1 kilos of her) is a lap dog in every sense, she likes to think your lap is her lap!
She gives funny little smiles, which makes her look even cuter than she is.
Dora was surrendered to us along with another small dog when their owner wasn’t able to keep them any more.
She’s an easy girl to have around - though technically not house trained (she lived in an outside run at her previous home), she runs in and out of our home with our own little dogs, with just the odd accident. I have found that older dogs (past the puppy stage) catch on to the toileting thing pretty quickly.
Dora isn’t living in our home 24/7 due to 6 permanent doggie residents and 3 cats already residing here, but she’s here for a big chunk of the day and sleeps in the kennels at night.
When Dora and her friend are inside, they think it’s fun to chase the cats, but not in a determined, aggressive way.
Dora loves walks in her harness and drives in the car. She plays nicely with all the other dogs she has met while here.
Medical notes
Microchipped, vaccinated and desexed. Dora weighs 3.1 kg.

Please express your interest by sending an email through PetRescue.
Tell us about the home and lifestyle you can offer Dora.
We are interested in your family situation (who is in your family) their work/study hours, how long the dog would be left alone during a typical week.
What you can offer a dog in terms of activities, outings and training.
If you have other pets - in most cases we look favourably on a home with an existing dog or the possibility of adding another dog at a later stage (the exception would be if the dog being rehomed is not so good with other dogs).
Whether Dora will be welcome inside and where she will sleep.
Dora is in care at Moree, NSW, about a 7 hour drive from Sydney. You will need to be prepared to drive to Moree to collect her if you are the successful adopter.
