About Lena (Tiny girl)
MEET LENA aka Tiny Girl!
Lena is approximately only 9 months young and already been a mother. She is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated x2 and desperately searching for her own forever home. Her nickname is "tiny girl" because of how little she is!
Tiny girl has had a rough start to life, never being able to truly experience being a kitten, she became pregnant at a very very young age and gave birth to 4 kittens. Thankfully, Tiny, Daddy cat and the 4 kittens were all surrendered to our rescue when their owner couldn't care for them anymore and the 4 kittens have since all found their forever home, now it's Mummy's turn!
Tiny is very petite and very shy, we suspect she was not handled much in her home and as such she is still getting used to being petted and loved and learning to trust humans. Tiny does now enjoy pats and gives a gentle purr and smooch, as long as you dont ask too much of her too soon! She will happily rub her chin all over you for chin scratches and a good butt scratch! She has also started hopping into my lap on the couch! She will absolutely be affectionate.
Tiny girl is looking for a home that is kind, patient and preferably quiet with no little kids or indoor doggies, Tiny gets along fine with other cats and is currently in foster care with a number of varying personalities and ages. Tiny does give "love bites" when she gets overly stimulated with pats which we suspect is due to not experiencing pats or human touch much in her previous life, it's not aggressive or painful, just a little nip on the hand, if you move your hand away she will go back to smooching all over you, we believe this will get better as she gets older and learns to be a pet! We just know that in the right home, she will blossom into the beautiful and loving little cat we know she is! She is still a growing kitten and we hope she will gain weight and grow at least a little bit more now that she has been desexed though she will likely always be tiny since giving birth at such a young age. She does like to secretly play and really enjoys climbing the cat tower!
We want nothing more than to find this sweet little gal her purrfect home where she can just finally be a young kitty and experience life without having to worry about feeding and caring for her babies.

Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
