About Thor
Thor is a snuggly, spritely kitten who is playful and curious. He loves warming himself up on cold winter nights any way he can; in front of the heater, on a lap, under the blankets!
He had a short silky coat, diamond-shaped face and almond shaped eyes which love to watch the goings on around the house and outside the window!
Thor is a bit of a nosy neighbour and likes to see what’s making noises outside, he watches the lights and the trees too, which he finds fascinating.
Thor would do well in an indoor home with lots of toys or a friendly cat friend to play with. He loves to chase string toys and play hide and seek.
After all of his playing he loves nothing more than to crash out on the bed or couch and curl up for a night of cuddles and pats.
Thor can be a little nervous upon meeting new people, but once he is settled he is curious and interested. He has a very soft, delicate meow which he uses to get all the pats, treats and love!

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
