Meet Bernard!

Bernie is a very sweet, food obsessed boy. He has a lovely long coat, which he is very diligent about keeping clean.

His favorite pastime is eating, followed by lounging around, and racing around after any toy or stray piece of paper dropped on the ground. He enjoys pats while he is lounging.

Bernie is a playful cat. He specifically seems to like dropped receipts, which he will chase around. He also does tolerate being picked up and carried about, but he sometimes grows annoyed and will let you know that he wishes to be put down. He also is pretty good walking on a leash.

Bernie is on a strict diet, and any home he is adopted into needs to ensure he follows his diet. The vet would like him to lose at least 3 kilos to reach his ideal weight.

Bernie would prefer to live in a home with no small children, and no other cats or dogs.
