About Rowdy
Rowdy Red Dog is a very handsome, sweet-natured and affectionate Red Heeler pup born on 29 March 2022.
His foster mum says he has "a smashing personality with the softest coat for cuddles".
Why's he called "Rowdy"? He was named after Rowdy Yates, the quietly-spoken cowhand (played by a very young Clint Eastwood) in the 1960s TV western, Rawhide.
Rowdy loves people and is great with children.
He is very dog-friendly and has had limited exposure to a cranky old cat by the name of Oscar, who spends his time avoiding or hissing at the dogs.
He lives in a private foster home in Warwick, Queensland and his adoption fee is $750.
He is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Rowdy is available for interstate adoption. A virtual meet and greet may be offered to approved applicants.
Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) The "meet and greet" is held in Warwick, Queensland. If successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
