About Clifford ~ 10yr Old Mixed Breed(On Trial 17/7/22)
Meet Clifford, a loyal and loving 10-year-old mixed breed. We can see a few different breeds
in there, but he is not a big boy, being medium sized and only about 18kg.
Clifford is an easy-care pooch! Originally adopted from Dog Rescue Newcastle, he has spent
the last 2 years with his current owner. He settled in very quickly when he first arrived and
has been a wonderful pet. Unfortunately, his owner now needs to find him a new home due
to a change in family circumstances.
Clifford is very loving and likes to spend time with you outside, whatever you are doing. He
also loves his daily walks and walks well on a lead. During the day he does not mind being at
home by himself and is content to chew on his bone, chase lizards, explore the yard and
relax on his bed. He does not dig holes or destroy plants/ gardens or chew things. He knows
basic commands, learns easily and is well behaved.
Clifford responds very well to humans, but is quite anxious around other dogs and needs
reassurance if other dogs are in sight. He does not like to be close to other dogs, and as an
older gentleman we respect his choices!
Clifford has been living as an outside dog, but we will be looking for a family who will
welcome him inside if he chooses. He will happily take himself to bed each night after
dinner. He has a good appetite.
If you would like a true companion, Clifford will not disappoint you.
