About Freya
Freya is calm and gentle. While she is not always the first to greet you at the door, she is one of the first to seek cuddles and sit in your lap when you have a quiet moment. As she is used to being around lots of other kittens and cats she is sociable and friendly and loves to play.
Freya came into care along with 11 other kittens. She originated from a remote country town where she was rescued from a hoarding situation. She has one of the prettiest coats you could imagine - she is a tabby with a difference! She had one sister that we know of who was adopted quite a while back. It is time for Freya to find a family and home all of her own.
As Freya has alwasy been in the company of others we would recommend she is not adopted as a lone cat. She would benefit from having a brother or sister to keep her company, play with and keep each other out of mischief.
If you wanted to adopt a second cat or kitten from CCAR, we can negotiate a reduced adoption fee.
Adoption details
If you would like to adopt a country pet there are a few requirements.
A chat with the foster carer is the first step to determine if the pet is the right one for you and your lifrstyle. A yard check while having a meet and greet is the next step and if all is satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the foster carer.
