About Libby
Hi! I'm Libby. I'm a 6-month-old Kelpie x Lab x Great Dane x border collie. In other words, I'm a mix of fantastic breeds.
My foster mum & dad think I'm an absolute sweetheart! I'm very affectionate, love people and other dogs and being part of the family. I'm looking for a home where I can come inside and be part of the family. I'm good with kids, but because I'm a bigger girl, and am learning my manners, older kids would be best. I won't be the size of a Great Dane, but could get to 30kg or so.
I love to follow you around the house while you do jobs (I especially love supervising cooking in the kitchen!) and then sit at your feet when you are on the couch. I love to cuddle, although I still doesn’t believe that I'm not a lap dog haha.
I get lonely when left by myself, so a home with another friendly dog for me to play with or someone that is home most of the time is best for me. I get on well with other dogs and love to play. If I am to be an only dog, my family will need to ensure I have lots of opportunity to socialise with other dogs in order to keep me happy and to help me to grow up to be a well grounded canine citizen.
I have met cats and am unfazed by them. As a part working breed, I will need a home that will continue my training and ensure I have the mental and physical exercise that my breed requires. I'm not a barker and I'm walking well on a "halti no-pull" chest harness. I'm house trained and know to go outside and use the lawn.
If you think I may be the perfect girl for you, send in your application form today! To details on how to apply, please scroll down to the adoption process box.
Love & licks,
Libby xx
