About Tucker & Sherlock
Hi! We're Tucker & Sherlock and We're looking for a new family to call our own.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR TUCKER & SHERLOCK
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM
https://forms.gle/VJcvDZp7mNMKQFH67
NOTE: You are unable to meet Tucker & sherlock until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Tucker & sherlock in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.
What I need in my new home:
• BREED KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with our family
• Secure Fencing
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A family who promises to keep us well-groomed and brush us regularly so we're always looking and feeling our best
• We have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• We like both friendly male and female dogs however we can be full on in play.
• A home with no other dogs is preferable as we are a high energy duo and need lots of individual attention and training.
• We appeared scared of cats when meeting them at the shelter however once our confidence around them grows we might be more inquisitive. If going to a home with a cat they must be dog savvy and we must be introduced slowly.
• TRAINING TRAINING TRAINING. It's ESSENTIAL We receive training in all aspects of my life so we can be the best dog I can be when we're older.
• SOCIALISATION is as important for us as it appears we've led a very sheltered life and can be a bit nervous/shy in new situations. Since being at the shelter we are becoming much braver though. Taking us to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will help boost our confidence.
• Being young puppies, We will adapt & learn easily, how we mature will only be a reflection of you & our upbringing
Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Other dogs - We are a high energy duo and need lots of individual attention and training.
My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other dogs
• Exuberant & full of beans
Where I need to improve / Training required
• We will require full basic training as we've had no training experience yet.
• We have never been on lead before so we will require a family that will be patient with us and train us to walk on lead.
• We can sometimes initially be shy and try to avoid things going over our head (lead etc). It doesn't take long for us warm up and our excitable & full of life nature to come out.
