About Micro DL2922
Just like his beautiful black and white markings, Micro embodies the best of both Yin and Yang energies.
This bold, majestic young man is curious, outgoing, high energy, smart, adventurous and fun-loving. Then, in his downtime, he’s a soft and beautiful marshmallow who is sensitive, sweet, loving, affectionate, trusting, chilled out, and eager to please.
In addition to being devilishly handsome, this playful boy is a quick learner and will make his
humans very proud if they take the time to nurture his development. He’s not motivated by food - big praise is all it takes for Micro to follow instructions! He can “sit” and “stay”.
He’s getting good at “shake-a-paw” and “down”. He waits politely for his meals and is good at threshold training. He is friendly towards other dogs, but he’s working on manners when approaching potential friends.
Micro is a cuddle bum. He requires regular belly rubs, hugs, pats and kisses. He has the softest coat that doesn't seem to shed much. He’s housetrained and can hold on for some time. He adores car rides, squeaky toys, and just being part of your world.
A high energy boy, Micro requires 2 walks per day, plus play, to keep him happy. He is now walking quite well on lead and is improving daily. He will need ongoing lead/social training, but will surely keep forming good walking habits with practice from a patient and dedicated owner.
Mental stimulation is just as important for an active dog like Micro. Puzzles and games are great to use at home. With the high likelihood of working breeds in his make up, he could excel at activities like rally-o, agility, or nosework. Just put in the time and you'll see what he can do!
Like the raptors in Jurassic Park, Micro can open pull handle doors, so keeping him contained can be a challenge. However, he’s fine left alone inside and is non-destructive, tested up to 4.5 hours so far. He could be ok with full time workers, provided he gets enough attention and exercise. He can be exuberant when you return home, so he’s working on learning to not jump up.
He isn't suited to kids, so is looking for a grown up household. He's quite uncomfortable with unexpected touch, so you'll need to respect his boundaries while continuing his training. He will either need to be your only dog at home, or with a very patient female dog, pending proper introduction. He has not been tested with cats.
Micro is best as an indoor dog - if left alone in a yard for too long, he would likely try to escape to make friends. But if you're working from home, he'd be stoked, as he'd just chill on the couch while waiting for you to take cuddle breaks.
So if you want to look like the coolest kid on the block walking this absolute dreamboat around, enquire about Micro today!
