Meet Emma

She is a beautiful 2 year old Greyhound. She loves lots of cuddles and is very people orientated, she is friends with everyone. Being only a very young dog she has a lot of energy but she also equally loves to sleep on a nice soft bed or sofa to recharge and fully stretch out. Given that she is a large dog, nice secure fenced backyard is required to keep her safe and secure. Emma in her previous home has lived with a cat, but it is always important to introduce new canine and feline friends slowly to ensure they get off to the best start.

The RSPCA is accredited to assess whether the greyhounds we adopt can safely be adopted 'muzzle free'.
This dog has passed this test with flying colours and is now ready for a new home.
We ask for a one-month "foster to adopt" period, giving us all time to ensure that this greyhound can adapt to home life from their former life in the racing industry.
When adopting a greyhound from us, you will receive a special orange collar, which has your dog's unique number on it.
Please make sure your grey wears that collar when visiting a special greyhound off-leash area, located in Kingborough and Launceston, or just out and about for a walk.
