About Mabel
Mabel has been acing her time at Camp Foster Care and has earned herself a few badges ("super chiller", "good at sharing", "zero accidents", and "brave girl") and is almost ready to find her pawfect match.
Mabel is content living with FT working humans (in an apartment), but must another greyhound for company. She is currently living with another senior girl.
While not currently living with cats, Mabel has met a few calm kitties and has shown very polite and social behaviour.
Keep an eye out for more information on this gorgeous girl as she completes her vet work and is ready to consider a home.
Before enquiring please consider:
• The time and financial commitments of adopting a forever hound
• What your work/social commitments will look like as restrictions continue to ease
Please no applications from:
(1) Homes with pocket pets (example: rabbits, rats, guinea pigs)
(2) Homes with children under 5 (Mabel has not been socialised with small children)
(3) Homes where Mabel would be left alone FT worker hours without another dog for company
(4) While Mabel is currently happily living in an apartment, she is about to undergo treatment for corns, so apartment dwellers will need to ensure she's not pounding the pavement too much while still getting outside for enrichment and physical exercise
Medical notes
Mabel is currently undergoing treatment for corns. Being a lady of leisure, she is quite happy being rolled along in her beach cart to the nice soft grass at the park, and will appreciate a forever home who can continue to ensure she doesn't spend too much time walking on pavements and other hard surfaces.
