About Crispy
Crispy's the name!
“Hello, my name is Cripsy. When I first met the Catters, I really didn't trust humans as I didn't have much interaction with them. That's because I was rescued from a hoarding case where there were more than 40 of us cats hanging about! It's a lot, right? Too many for our caretaker to handle, and so we didn't get the close socialisation we needed as kittens. At first, I was very scared to have been rescued and spending time with a new person, but after some time with my foster carer I have started to come out of my shell and relax a little. I have discovered that I love playing with ping pong balls and running up and down the house chasing them, they're great fun. I also enjoy basking in the warm window sun and watching my carer garden outside. I live here with Henry, my big boof-head of a brother. We might not have had the same mum (the Catters can't know that for sure) but either way we consider ourselves bro's. I'd love to find a home with him, but I know that isn't always possible. I do need a home with another cat preferably, because I have never lived a life without one around and it's important to have someone that speaks your language. I look forward to the day that I find my furrever family and hope they enjoy quirky cats - because that's exactly what I am!"
Crispy likes watching birds and mice on YouTube, snoozing in secluded places, and just watching what is going on around him. He is best suited to a home with other cats, or being adopted with his friend Henry, as he has never lived a life without cats before. Due to Crispy's shy nature, he is best matched with older families without young children. Crispy has not been tested with dogs, however we would consider a trial period for families with dogs that are cat-social and would be respectful of his boundaries.

Medical notes
Medical Note: Crispy was exposed to a widespread disease commonly known as Cat Flu (Feline Herpes Virus). Crispy has not shown any signs of ill health during time in care and may or may not be a carrier of the virus. This virus is a common respiratory disease in cats and varies in severity. The virus usually attacks the respiratory tract (nasal passages and lungs), eyes, or both. Signs of illness may or may not develop over time and veterinary treatment might be required. As usual, regular vaccinations are important to protect Crispy and other cats within the same living space should be up to date with vaccination.
