About Lola
Say hello to LOLA, a very sweet-natured female Bullmastiff x Amstaff born on 3 December 2016.
Lola has been very reluctantly surrendered to us due to a change in family circumstances, and through no fault of her own. She has been a much-loved companion dog.
Lola is house-trained and enjoys being inside the home with her family, whether that's watching TV in the evenings or just being a silent companion while her human works on the computer, gardens, cooks or does general household chores.
She is trained to sit, lie down, shake hands, wait for her food and not be near the dining table when her humans are eating.
Lola loves being around people, including chilidren, and is very dog-friendly. She enjoys lying in the sun and splashing around in the shallows at the beach. But she's definitely not a deep-water swimmer.
Loyal and protective, Lola likes to wait patiently beside her favourite human's bed until the human has gone to sleep and then she wanders off to her own bed for the night. She will sound the bark alarm if someone she doesn't know comes to the house.
She's dog-friendly and keen to play with her own kind. As for cats, she's met only one and was initially intimidated by the cat's hissing, but soon warmed up.
Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and/or there is another compatible dog for Lola to play with. Previous large breed experience will be highly regarded. A spacious backyard is ideal and, as always, secure fencing is a must.
If you are interested in meeting Lola and can offer her a suitable, safe and loving forever home, PLEASE COMPLETE THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
Her adoption fee is $300. She is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
She lives in Warwick, Queensland.
