About Jack
Hi there, it is Jack here and l am looking to find my new human mates that appreciate a fine dog when they see one. That bit is about me! I am a sweet-natured little man that that would like to settle down with my human mates. I am currently being cared for and my carer says that giving me up will be the hardest things she has had to do for a long time. I have been described as mischievous and an abundance of joy. My manners inside the house are impeccable and when nap time comes, I am like a baby that falls sleep in mother's arms. I like my food and as my pictures indicate, I am full of life and wonder. My carer says that finally my ears are no longer ornaments and that I learn quickly. She also said that coming home to me makes life worthwhile and I kind of like that myself! I like walking and do not pull on the lead and I am not a gardener so I don't dig holes and nonsense like that. I also can't see the point in barking about nothing. I do love a pat and a good word. I am not aggressive with other dogs. I really like travelling in the car with my bed. I love to shadow my foster mum around the house and follow her everywhere. If you would like me to be your shadow, and a real member of the family, apply to adopt today!
Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me ""no"" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.
I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations, because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
