Smudge

Hi there, Smudge is a shy lady who is looking for an owner who will give her time to adjust, settle and gain confidence in the home. She must be started in a small room with safe hiding places, like under the bed before she is confident enough to explore the rest of the house as she can become easily overwhelmed in large open spaces. To show her that all humans offer love and attention spend as much time with her as possible, offering small amounts of wet food, chicken or similar, and actively engaging with touch and gentle handling. Once Smudge feels comfortable, she will begin to solicit gentle attention, bunting, leaning into attention and purring.
