Hi, I'm Nevada - described as sweet, sensitive and shy. My ideal home would be calm and quiet, with gentle and patient people who understand me and work on building my confidence, taking things slowly and at my own pace. I can be easily startled by loud noises and fast movements. Please allow me indoors to be part of the family because once I trust and feel included, I'll show you that I'm actually quite the cheeky and playful little girl. Please do not take me out to busy crowded areas as this would be too overwhelming for me, instead start with short walks near home and work on building my confidence. I'm best suited to calm, gentle older children and meet at time of adoption - the same goes for other dogs in the family. I'm best suited to a calm gentle doggie friend of similar size. I was quite fearful and submissive when meeting other dogs and will need some time to feel comfortable and safe around them.
