About Wilbur
Hi I’m Wilbur, my siblings and I make up the Charlotte’s Web litter. I found myself in the care of Belle Vie when my owner could no longer care for my siblings and I. On arrival I was extremely timid and uncertain of everything, the slightest of movements made me anxious.
I absolutely love people, but would recommend to be in a home with older children as I can sometimes forget my manners and get too over excited for little people.I am very cuddly and love meeting new people.
I am happy to rest with you, beside you and on you,but I also have lots of energy that will require me to have good stimulation activities. I love playing with my whale toy and any toys really.
I am doing well with my basic training. I am a quick learner, but can sometimes get distracted, so will need to have this continued in my new home so I can keep learning and increase my skills. I can still be a bit jumpy when excited but I am working on this. I walk well on lead, however I haven’t been on a proper walk yet so may need more time spent working on my lead training.
I am untested with cats so unsure how i would react around them. I currently live with other dogs and it has been observed that I am better suited to a home with bigger dogs, as I play far too rough with small breeds. I would also do okay by myself, as long as I have adequate socialisation opportunities.
I spend my days both inside and outside, sleeping in my crate at night. I am doing mostly good with my toileting, but I may still have some accidents.
