About Mack
This handsome gent is seeking a family who will welcome him and see where his personality leads, he is definitely up for new adventures.
He enjoy his walks and gets very excited when he sees the harness and lead. Car rides are the best and loves looking out the window, so he will need to well secured as he want to move around constantly.
Other dogs need to approached as a “let see how it goes bases” on a lead. Most times he is perfect but once or twice although not aggressive, does bark to show he is not comfortable. Once he has been introduced he gets on with other dogs very easily. He is currently living with 3 other dogs. Cats are untested.
Mack is quite content to snuggle up next to you or on the couch in the general vicinity. Until it is bed time then he is the best little spoon. He is a gentle sweet souls in every way. He is a very easy-going social dog and loves attention from people. He is non reactive with children but will not seek them out for attention.
He is toilet trained and use the doggie door regularly day and night (without the flap). He love a good sunny spot and something to chew on.
A confident friend for him will be best or a active family that is more home than not.
Medical notes
5 year old Mack is desexed and microchipped, as well as being up to date with vaccinations, flea, tick, intestinal worm and heart worm prevention.
Mack has had a dental recently and lost 6 teeth. It is important to keep up with regular dental checks in the future.
Mack also has mild patella luxation in his left hind leg, but it doesn’t affect him at this stage, but a joint support supplement will benefit him as he ages.
In early July, Mack possibly ingested some rat bait, and spent about 6 weeks having vitamin K for treatment. He has now passed the clotting and coagulation tests and is in the clear.
