About Rosie ~ 8mo Kelpie X Staffy(On Trial 11/12/22)
You’re looking at the sweetest, most friendly and bright young girl you’ll likely ever meet. Rosie is described as being extremely affectionate and ‘smiley’ - she adores everyone she meets. Rosie is about 13kg.
Despite being only young, Rosie is well-rounded and gets along with people and dogs of all ages and sizes. Rosie is learning quickly how to respond to her name and sit down when greeting you. She has already mastered sit, toilet training and waiting for food. As with all puppies, a family committed to ongoing training will be required for Rosie to continue to grow into the wonderful companion and family dog she is destined to be. She is an intelligent girl who is eager to please and loves her food, which will make training a breeze.
Rosie has lived with other dogs and children. She would love to go to a home with another dog who she can play with. Living with older kids would be ideal, or younger kids who can help teach Rosie to sit when greeting for pats. Rosie has shown no interest in escaping even rural fencing. A property on acreage with a dog sibling or two would be Rosie’s dream.
She is quite independent and has demonstrated that she is able to be left by herself with another dog for company while you go to work or run errands.
Rosie has previously lived with a cat but is not living with one currently. A meet and greet can be arranged if you have other furry friends living in your home.
If you have space in your home for a low-maintenance puppy who’s favourite activity is to just be close to you, please email Rosie’s carer finlayheilbuth@gmail.com. To register your interest in adopting Rosie, please file out the adoption questionnaire https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt. Rosie is in care in the Lake Macquarie area and is available for adoption interstate. Her adoption fee is $600 which includes all up to date vaccinations, desexing, microchipping, flea and worm treatments.
