About Narla ~ 10yr Old Chihuahua X(On Trial 3/9/22)
Say hello to Narla. Narla is a super happy, affectionate and oh so cute 10yr Old Chihuahua X Miniature Foxie. This super gorgeous girl is a total love muffin and will seek out your attention and affection regularly. She truly is the doggo you never knew you were missing until now!
Narla is an all round sweetheart. She loves being in your company, getting cuddles and love and affection and also really gets enjoyment out of being with other dogs of similar size. She enjoys going on walks, and she is just as happy to hang out at home with her family. Narla loves to snuggle up on the lounge and watch TV. She's a bit of a footy fan, watching along with her foster family and joining in on day to day activities. Her main aim is to be with you and making you feel the most loved. She has a funny little happy dance that she does when excited; she stands on her back legs and jumps around whilst swinging her front legs up and down. She is well behaved and is suitable to take to cafes and other social situations.
Narla has coped well with being left with the other dogs when her foster carers need to go out. She loves to show off her happy dance when you return, bringing a smile to your face every time. She is well behaved in social outings and has been taken out to cafes and other situations and enjoyed every minute of it. Narla can be a little timid at first with new surroundings, but like any new doggo to their perfect home, it won't take long for this gorgeous little girl to settle in and show you her amazing personality. She has lived with three small dogs whilst in foster care and gets along well with each of them.
Narla is learning to sit and stay; she answers to her name and comes when called, so not only is she insanely adorable and loving, she's just the bestest girl all round! She is an inside doggo and loves the creature comforts of a lovely warm bed, and being able to be with you all the time. She sleeps wrapped in a big soft blanket on the lounge, which she much prefers over any dog bed. She loves her beauty sleep and will sleep through the night. She also enjoys a little nap in the afternoon with her person, so afternoon siestas are a go!
Narla is working on housetraining and although she is 99% the way there, she can sometimes have an accident if not taken outside or have free access when she needs to go. She will bark to alert you if someone is around, but knows to settle when you're on the case.
Narla has been exposed to small children during foster care; she is gentle and happy when in their presence, so is suitable for families of all ages. She is good with other small dogs so would benefit from having another fur friend to live, play and cuddle with. Narla has not been exposed to cats or pocket pets whilst in foster care so it is unknown how she will react to them.
Narla would be suited to either a family or would be happy with a single person or couple. She would also be happy to live with another small dog or be an only dog. She would love a home where someone is home most of the time. Narla enjoys being outside and will need a home with adequate fencing. She has tried to escape once whilst in foster care, but once she adapted to the new environment and settled in, she has not tried again.
Narla will make lovely and affectionate family dog; she is great company and will shower you with boundless love for caring for her and loving her equally.
For more information on Narla please contact her foster carer via email robynstarkey30@gmail.com. Narla is in foster care at Fennell Bay NSW (Near Newcastle) and is available for interstate adoption. Narla’s adoption fee is $400 which includes all up to date vet work. Narla is vaccinated, treated for worms and fleas, and is microchipped. Narla is booked in for desexing soon, and will be available to leave to her new home from the 7th of September 2022.
