About Aari
Hey there! I am Aari!!
My mum arrived into care from a regional pound heavily pregnant. A few weeks later my siblings and I arrived. I have now had my initial vet work and I am searching for my forever home. I am looking for a specific home, so have a read and see if you are the right match for me.
I am a very outgoing, smart and cheeky little boy. I have a lot of cattle dog traits so I am looking for a family experienced in the breed to ensure I get the best possible chance at life.
Everything is a game to me and I just love to run and chase. I do like to 'herd' at times, so I am better off with older children. I have a lot of energy to burn so would love a home on acreage with another doggy friend at home. I am not suitable for suburban life.
I am very food orientated so training me has been a breeze. Despite being a larakin, I am a very well behaved and quiet pup. I am happy to spend my days outside playing with my siblings or keeping myself busy. I LOVE coming inside to snuggle into my humans.
I am already proving to be a very smart and loyal companion, and I am very dedicated to my foster humans, including the children in my home.
Since being in care I have been around other dogs, cats, chickens, goats and guinea pigs and I am great with everyone.
My mum is a cattle dog and dad is unknown, however a guess can be taken that I am another working breed mix such as a Kelpie or Border Collie (or both!) so I will be medium sized when fully grown.

Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will pass your contact details onto the carer and they will liaise with you to arrange a meet & handover. Prior to the handover, an adoption contract will be emailed to you along with copies of vet work & our bank details. The signed adoption agreement & payment of the adoption fee is required prior to the animal leaving with you. We offer a two-week trial period, and the full adoption fee, minus an administration fee will be refundable if the adoption is cancelled within those two weeks.
At the end of the two week adoption trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name.
