About Toothless Dragon
😿 Why haven’t I had any adoption enquiries yet? Is it because of my ear? That’s just a reminder of how lucky I am to be rescued! 😿
Toothless is a lucky boy! He was rescued and ear tipped to be released after desexing. Luckily our vet told us he was having a cuddle before and after surgery and suggested he may be a good candidate for rehoming. Boy was he right!
On his first few nights he was a little unsure at being inside a home. As he looked up at me with his big green eyes he looked so much like Toothless Dragon in the movie How to Train your Dragon! And just like that dragon, he has learnt to love and trust humans.
Toothless loooooves a cuddle and to curl up on a warm lap in front of the TV. He is a real purr machine and seeks you out when you get comfy on the couch.
Toothless adores his foster siblings and would go well with a gentle, confident kitty to play with. He loves to play with toys and climb the cat tree. He isn’t fussed by the dog either!
If you think you’re the purrfect family for Toothless, please get in touch and submit a pre-adoption application.
Please note: Toothless DOES have teeth! 😹 He is a perfectly health little kitten!

ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. The pet will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
