About Franklin
*In foster care in Ashfield, Sydney*
With patience and love, this little man will steal your heart - and all your cuddles! Franklin had a challenging start to life and is still learning how to love (and be loved by) humans. Every day in foster care makes him more confident and affectionate, and he's now ready to discover his furrever home :)
While Franklin doesn't initiate cuddles yet, when a trusted human picks him up he definitely loves snuggling in. He has a ferocious purr, which gets especially loud during paw massages! He enjoys chasing toys, play-fighting his sister Rosalind, and being hand-fed boiled chicken and kitty treats!
Like all Maggie's pets, Franklin is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Because I'm still learning how to love humans and feel comfortable in their company, at first I'll need a small area (ideally a quiet room) to make myself at home in. With time, patience and love, I'll be ready to explore bigger spaces.
My new humans will need to spend a lot of time with me so I can feel safe. I don't like loud or sudden noises, or lots of people, though I think I could probably adjust to a home with kind, gentle children.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten! I have HEAPS of energy and love racing around chasing things! I tend to have a big sleep during the day after I've tuckered myself out.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any kids yet, but I'm sure I'd make a wonderful companion to a cat-loving child.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I adore my sister Rosalind so much and I'm certainly willing to give things a go with another friendly feline! Do keep in mind though that I need as much attention from humans as possible, so that I learn to ask for (and trust) human love and not just kitty love!
I haven't had the chance to meet any dogs at this stage.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
