About Xanthi
Sweet Xanthi who loves a bit of attention and thinks nothing of batting away the competition so she doesn't have to share the limelight with another cat.
This poor girl was dumped in a colony of cats when she was pregnant and really just a kitten herself. A kind lady began feeding her near her home when she showed up very skinny and malnourished. Shortly after she had several kittens. The lady continued to care for her and her 2 surviving kittens for several months.
Not long after Xanthi and her two 3 month old kittens came into care at CCAR. We didn't know she was pregnant again already. Xanthi's kittens are now almost a year old, she has been desexed. Xanthi is around 18 months old and looking for a family to call her own.
Whilst she gets on well enough with other cats, Xanthi would love to be a single lady with a family that she doesn't need to share with anyone else.
Adoption details
If you would like to adopt a country pet there are a few requirements.
A chat with the foster carer is the first step to determine if the pet is the right one for you and your lifrstyle. A yard check while having a meet and greet is the next step and if all is satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the foster carer.
