About Storm
This sweet little bean is Storm, a nearly 5 year old Pointer who like her namesake has endured some rough times, but is now ready for her rainbow.
Storm is a big people dog, she loves making new human friends and is a big time snuggler. If you're looking for a couch companion, this is your girl. The love and affection you give her will be returned 10 fold. She's extremely well mannered, crate-trained and will happily mind the house while you work and wait for your kisses and attention when you get home.
Storm was rescued from an abusive home, where she was neglected for long periods of time confined to a yard alone with no shelter. This has resulted in a degree of trauma and anxiety, as well as a fear of unknown dogs. She has come a really long way in care, but needs an understanding family who will continue her medication and muzzle her on walks incase any strange dogs rush up to her and spook her.
Her ideal forever family has a quieter, child free home with no other animals. She would do well out of a busy suburb, in a well fenced yard. Like people with trauma, she is sensitive to sounds and can get overwhelmed so is looking for a calm environment. She's very much an indoor dog now, and is the perfect house dog who will thrive with a family who will give her the love and patience she was denied for so long.
If you think you might be the miracle Storm's been waiting for please get in touch.
