About Esther
Esther and her siblings were born in an indigenous family environment with lots of people, kids and other dogs around. She spent her first 8 weeks there, and then the family asked if we could raise them up and find new families for them. Since the beginning she and her 4 siblings have just been a delight to care for, with their calm, happy natures and natural good manners. Esther is the bounciest and boldest of the crew, always up for a run around and a game. She particularly loves playing with the big dogs and just loves play wrestling and chasey. Nothing phases Esther - if a big dog disciples her she just takes it on the chin and gets on with it. These little guys are just so well socialised and healthy.
We can see Esther in a family environment who enjoy outdoor fun and would include her in family activities. A doggie friend in the immediate or extended family would be a bonus. She loves to sleep in a comfy dog bed, and also sleeps on the end of the bed sometimes after asking very politely for extra cuddles.
Esther is currently in care in the NT, and will be ready to travel in mid September, when she will be about 4 months old. She will travel by air from Alice Springs to Adelaide, and her fare is included in her adoption fee.
Medical notes
Esther will be tested for the full panel of tick-bourne diseases before she is rehomed and treatment will be provided if necessary.
