About Gracie
Personality: My human says I'm so sweet she could cry. I love to follow her around purring so I can check out what she's doing, then flop and roll around at her feet when she stops and notices me :). I love my mummy (Penny) and my siblings too, snuggling and playing with them.
Snuggle scope: I do love a bit of lap time and snuggling up with a human in bed. I also enjoy company and a relaxing massage when I’m tired and will happily accept a quick cuddle.
Cat scope: I love other cats!! I love my family and really need a kitty companion, preferably one of my foster siblings!
Dog scope: They’re ok I guess, if they’re friendly and calm. The cockers at our house are nice.
Child scope: Little humans are a bit scary! I’m sure I’ll get to like them though if they’re quiet and gentle with me.
Ideal home: I would love a home where the person/s and animal/s are loving, friendly, attentive, and can ensure we are always kept safely indoors. This is especially important because I am so fair that I will burn easily from the sun. Most importantly though, I love my family other cats so much that I would dearly love to stay with one my siblings, or at least have a new furbrother or sister I can become best friends with.
NOTE: Gracie's Foster Carer offers discounts for dual adoptions!
About:
Sweet little Gracie and family (including mummy Penny) were born on a local farm where they spent most of their time in horse stables. Sadly, with the property being sold, this dear little family were considered a burden to the owner of the farm and faced a terrible fate if a rescue group didn’t step forward and take them in, so of course we couldn't say no!
Gracie was such a tiny little girl when she came into care, and definitely the smallest in her family by far! Her poor young mumma Penny had really struggled to feed her babies during their first 2 weeks of live, and Gracie in particular was quite underweight for her age and unsteady her feet. As she, along with the rest of her family, was also battling a flea problem, I was quite worried about her for the first couple of weeks so paid her a lot of extra care an attention. Thankfully, with a few good baths, good quality food supplementation, and a few other treatments, Gracie consistently put on weight and ultimately thrived. She sure has shown her appreciation too with her sweet, loving little ways. She is still just a little girl, and is so like her mum, pretty as a picture with the most adoring look in her eyes. She will be the absolute perfect companion for a gentle soul who is looking a little girl to dote on.
Since entering care, these babies have been socialised with young children, other cats, and a pair of older Cocker Spaniels and are thus quite well rounded. Whilst Gracie can be a bit shy on first meeting new people, I’m sure that in a just a short time her lovely, happy little personality will shine through, especially with some fun fishing rod type toys and tasty treats to encourage herwith.
Adoption details
If Gracie sounds like the perfect kitty for you, please contact us and will send you a form to arrange a meet and greet. If the meet and greet goes well and you would like to proceed to adoption, we will send you an application and, if successful, make arrangements to deliver your new baby.
