About Winston
ADOPTION GUIDELINES
WOULD SUIT RURAL SETTING / LARGER SUBURBAN HOME-- QUIET HOUSEHOLD - NO CHILDREN- ONLY DOG HOUSEHOLD
Winston is one handsome dog! He has the most luxurious coat and some lovely skills: he can sit, drop, shake and takes treats oh-so-gently.
Winston can be quite independent so leaving him alone for periods of time is also feasible as he is not what we would call a a "Needy dog"
Ideally Winston would really suit a rural setting where he can plod around and not be expected to engage with too many new people to quickly on a daily basis.
As gorgeous as he looks, he likes his space so not a dog for a family with young children who want a dog to treat as a teddy bear , he does enjoy a good pat but does like to be the one that initiate's this once he feels comfortable with you.
Once Winston bonds / trusts you he will let you pat ,groom and will back into you for some lovely social contact but let him come to you and don't force the issue of restraint early in the relationship. Please have a chat with our experienced staff who can outline for you how to go about becoming this dog's new bestie.
The adoption fee for Winston is $395.00 which helps to cover the cost of
de-sexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew. Who says you can't buy love?!
