About Ravioli
Hi my name is Ravioli and I am a super sweet, curious, confident and smart 10 week old Rotti X Wolfhound . with super cute looks! And I am looking for my forever home.
Current weight 7 kilos so we think she's going to be a big girl at full growth
Ravioli is a soft girl and loves being around people and other dogs. You will get a kiss from her and she will lay in your arms for a cuddle. She is a cute dog with puppy dog eyes. She is quite content to be outside with her sister and resident foster dogs. She will sit quietly and stare at you through the glass door wanting to spend time with you. For a puppy she is quite calm and is not destructive.
Food
Ravioli is currently eating three meals a day consisting of premium puppy dry food, either cooked chicken or roast chicken. Ravioli loves her meals and when you are preparing her meal she will come running, she will sit and watch you prepare the meal. She is not food aggressive and will share with her foster sister. She has sampled lamb off cuts and we are using Smackoâs for treats and training.
Sleeping
Ravioli loves sleeping with her sister in a covered crate. She sleeps through the night and normally goes to bed around 10pm and will not wake until about 7 am. During the day she will snuggle up by herself or with her sister or foster brother in a round dog bed at the back door. After dinner she loves to visit with her human friends either on the couch or bed, but is still learning to settle.
Toileting/Training/walking
Ravioli is continuing to learn about toilet training and has access to a run area at night and both garden and grassed area during the day. On occasions she has had an accident inside if she has been too long inside, but will mostly go outside. In her new home we would expect her to have a few accidents until she is used to her new surroundings and finds her spot. It will be important for you to encourage her to go outside once she wakes up from sleeping or taking a nap.
Ravioli can currently sit on command and will take food gently from your hand. It will be important that she goes to puppy school to further her training. She is a super smart girl and is very attentive.
Due to her age and not being fully vaccinated Ravioli has not had any training on a lead. She has been wearing a collar and is not fussed about having it on. She will need training on a lead or harness and would benefit from learning from other dogs. She also spends time in the front yard and this has been getting her used to seeing new things like cars driving past and people/dogs out walking.
Once Ravioli is old enough and fully vaccinated it will be important that she is taken for a daily walk.
Exercise/toys
Ravioli loves exploring in the house and outside in the garden. She can be seen with her in the garden playing tug of war and smack down and doing zoomies with her sister and foster friend. She enjoys a good wrestling match. You will normally find her outside in the garden exploring or playing. She is a fairly quiet dog and rarely barks. Ravioli is learning about chew toys and squeaky toys and will happily play by herself.
Children
Ravioli is currently living in a home with 2 adults and 2 older teenagers, which she adores. Ravioli has also been around other people and is very friendly, however she has puppy paws and teeth and so a home with older children would be better suited.
Dogs/Cats
Ravioli has not been tested with cats, but due to her age we think she could adapt to being homed with a cat.
Ravioli is currently living with two 2 Jack Russellâs who are older. Ravioli tries getting attention from the other dogs, but being older they can be grumpy. Ravioli would love to find a home with a medium/large size male dog. She is very considerate and doesnât annoy them too much.
Travel
Ravioli has had a few trips in the car and is learning to relax. She is good sitting with a human during a trip. She will continue to learn with more experience on trips.
Bath
Ravioli has had a few baths and is beginning to learn about washing and she is given treats during the bath to learn it is ok to have a spa treatment.
