Dougie ~ Staffy X(On Trial 17/9/22)

Dougie is a loveable 15 week old Staffy X. Dougie has been an absolute delight for his foster family.

He has learnt all new tricks very quickly, as he absolutely loves treats. He can sit, stay and touch and can fetch his ball. He thinks he is very clever. Dougie will suit a household either as an only dog or a brother to another.

As Dougie is still young he will need someone home more often then not, to keep him on track with his excellent puppy behaviour. He has weaned out of his puppy biting stage, although we do have to remind him every now and then that it hurts when he forgets.

Dougie would suit a family with older children, with a big back yard to play fetch and roam around. Dougie loves a lounge cuddle but is trained to sleep in his crate at night and with busy days he is a great sleeper. He is mastering toilet training and knocks on the back door when he needs to go. However if you are not around and on to him, he can have a few accidents. He is a fast learner so no doubt this will improve as he grows.

Dougie’s perfect home would include:

- A nice big yard as he will grow into a medium size dog

- Children over the age of 5, being active and still a puppy he maybe to much for children
younger

- A family, couple of single ready to take this boss puppy into their home and involve him into every aspect of their life.

- A nice warm place to sleep inside and a cozy place for her crate near his people.

Dougie will grow quickly into a medium dog, so please consider your circumstances both now and in the long term and do some research on what is involved in caring for, living with and training medium size dogs. We would highly recommend Dougie complete a puppy training course to continue to improve his awesome skills.

As Dougie is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when hey is approximately 5/6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.

He has had his first vaccination and due for his second the 29 th August 2022. Dougie will be available to leave for his new home shortly after his second vaccination.
